Looking back on 2022, I'd have to say, without a doubt, this little guy was definitely the highlight.🐶 He came into my life completely unexpectedly and has brought me so much love and joy.🥰 He has filled a void of loneliness and feelings of isolation that were ever growing. So thank you little man for all the cuddles, for giving me something to love and care for. ❤️

Other wins of 2022 were watching my clients thrive. ✨️Watching them be brave, be vulnerable, ask for help and find their way. Watching them learn and grow and "use the tools" so they stay afloat in the storms or fly into new worlds of home and possibilities.

I've also I turned 50 which has been an interesting ride. Seeing and feeling my body change. Taking stock of where I have been and where I am going.

And as I age so too do my parents. Watching them deal with their limitations. Wondering and hoping that we still have many more memories to share. ❤️

So 2023 I welcome you into my life. Not surecwhat you will bring. Feeling positive but also feeling big changes and challenges may be on the horizon. ✨️

But that is life. Nothing is permanent. Everything flexes and flows on this carpet ride of life.

When there is so much pain annd injustice in the world it's so easy to become angry and cynical. It's a natural human response. But it doesn't help. It only creates more negativity.

We need to fight for change. we need to fight for justice and equality.

But how do we fight for peace when there is violence? How do we fight but still hold a vibration of love and not be pulled down by the energies we are opposing?

It's all part of this journey we are on as a collective as we shift the consciousness of theplanet to a higher frequency of acceptance, respect and love.

It's all part of our journey to understand the way the universe works and our place in it and how everything we do counts.

Everything in existence has a polar opposite. The Universe is built on polarities.

Hate is the opposite end of the spectrum to love. Darkness to light, peace and war, acceptance and judgement.

So we are in a great big energetic tug of war. We need to keep pulling until there is a shift. A shift to a higher consciousness. A higher frequency and vibration.

Weneed to hold the vibration of love. Of respect and peace.

When we align with these frequencies we can pull the world up.

Love can win. Change can happen.

It's not airy fair woo-woo. It's universal truth.

We get so lost in our screens, endlessly searching and scrolling. Mind numb. Body slumped.

We lose time and productivity.

We know it's addictive and studies now indicate that they mess with our cognitive function.

But we keep scrolling.

Yes they are addictive. But is part if it hiw we have be one so caught up in the need to be constantly doing?

Being productive has become synonymous with achieving, success and being a good human.

It even seems like our one escape - meditation, has become a doing.

So how about we just close our eyes with absolutely no expectations and just allow ourselves to rest. No need to battle our minds into emptiness.

No need to force anything. No need to achieve anything.

Just close your eyes and relax.

Even for 5 minutes. Don't worry about your mind. Just allow yiur body and eyes to have a break.

It's a gift.

Mine would have to be chai. I just love the warm spices and the subtle hit of caffeine. And now I add Chaga and Lions Mane mushroom powder for extra depth and their amazing medicinal properties.

But it's the afternoon so no caffeine for me. Just some nice elderberry and echinacea to help get me through this cold winter.
